Exercises For Women To Burn The Belly Fat

A lot of women want to burn belly fat and are looking for the best exercise to do. I am often asked about the best belly fat burning exercises for women.
The truth is that there aren't any workouts that I know of which are specifically for women and not for men. The fundamental way in which our body burns fat is the same regardless of gender.

The key to burn stomach fat for women or men for that matter is to focus on the exercises which burn the most body fat. Don't focus on stomach workouts as you can't burn fat from a specific body part. Your body loses fat as a single unit regardless of which body part you workout.
That being said, here are some of the belly fat burning workouts you should focus on:
Cardio workouts - I recommend running, rowing, swimming, kickboxing lessons, hiking, and aerobic classes. These workouts tend to be more intensive and burn more calories per session. I don't recommend the elliptical or the stationary bike since these are low intensity workouts which don't really burn a lot of calories.
Strength workouts - I recommend to work with free weights and bodyweight and to not do a lot of strenght exercises in machines. There are a number of reasons for this, but let's just say that working out with dumbbells or bodyweight is much more effective.
The key is to focus on multi-jointed exercises which work more than a single muscle group. These include: squats, lunges, chest presses, shoulder thrusts, back pulley exercises and the like. Yes, I know that you may think that these are masculine workouts but they just work and burn a lot of fat.
Naturally, working out alone isn't enough. You need to make sure you follow a careful eating plan as well. Do this and you will get the best and fastest results.
